From the jungles to the sea, barefeet, skin to sand, nestled under the palms, wading through water. Gently we wrap our sacred skin, our temple, in treasures that will be loved and worn, to age with us throughout our journey.

“financially empower women in rural Rajasthan through skills development and by providing sustainable livelihood opportunities in slow fashion”.
After founder Madhu recognised that most women in Bhikamkor village already owned a sewing machine as part of their marriage dowry, the project helped develop skills the women already have within means of the resources available.
The handloom is an ancient craft practice and an important part of the cultural heritage in India. It is a slow process that involves great care and attention to detail, that produces durable and high quality fabrics that are made to last.
The natural dye team at Kali Beri use a mix of vegetable/natural-dyes and sun-activated pigment inks to create beautifully dyed fabrics free from harmful chemicals.

What set’s our designs apart?
Our sarongs aren’t just beautiful squares of fabric, they have been designed and cut to compliment and curve around your body. They can be worn two ways, Tied at the hip for a classic and casual look, or fully wrapped and tied at the back for more coverage and shape. We also wear the sarong wrapped and layered with tights and boots for a winter look.
Our childs Kaftan is lightweight, soft and chemical free for precious and sensitive skin. They offer full coverage and a whimsical flowy feeling for imaginative souls, perfect for playing and getting messy in the sun, or layered with thermals and quilted vests for a winter look. Designed to fit for several years.
